Join us for a two-day hands-on training workshop that explores installation, configuration, and management of a heterogeneous Private Cloud environment using Windows Server 2012, Hyper-V, and System Center 2012.

Overview:
How System Center 2012 can save you money by managing the incremental migration of a vSphere environment to a Hyper-V solution.

Objectives:
At the end of the course‚ you should gain an understanding of the functionality in Windows Server 2012 and System Center 2012 and be able to do the following:

  • Build your System Center 2012-based private cloud‚ configure and manage a heterogeneous Hyper-V/ESXi and System Center/vSphere environment.
  • Manage the mixed-mode environment from a single console‚ monitor the dual systems and create and extract the operational reports using System Center 2012 and Veeam Management Packs for Hyper-V and vSphere.
  • Migrate your existing virtual machines from VMware to Hyper-V
  • Re-provision your existing ESXi servers with Hyper-V and easily add them to your existing private cloud infrastructure.

Prerequisites:
Background in Server Virtualization‚ knowledge in vSphere‚ working knowledge of Windows Server.
