Candidates must pass one exam from one of three tracks: Infrastructure, Database and Developer.

The Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) credential focuses on the ability to design and build technology solutions and proves that you have the core technical skills required to build a sustainable career in IT. It is also the prerequisite for the expert-level MCSE certifications. MCSA certification requires 2 to 3 exams and is available in the following tracks:

On September 26, 2016 Microsoft introduced new streamlined Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification paths that make it easier for you to obtain this sought after expert certification. 5 new MCSE & MCSD certification paths were introduced that closely align with industry-recognized areas of competence.
